The web site Ilandlures.co.za has been started out of a love for big game fishing. Cor van Niekerk is the founder of IlandLures.co.za. His reason for starting this new venture has its roots in Cor's fishing past.

For many years Cor had been a keen deep water angler. Chasing after game fish and having no real success. Then one weekend Cor was introduced to IlandLures. Within a very short period Cor had landed a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish.

Now, convinced of the power of IlandLures, Cor had to find a way to share his success with other anglers and find a way to distribute these fantastic lures. Cor made contact with IlandLures in the USA and after much negotiation Cor and IlandLures.co.za are now the official South AFrican distributors of IlandLures.
