i took up fishing this late in life because
  • i didn't have the time
  • i feel sorry for the fish
every time i think about the sharp hook piercing through the poor thing's mouth, i shudder in pity and shame

kitten thinks of nothing but murder all day . . .

i agree that's why sometimes i'd rather fish with a net just choose a different location where fish is abundant

well, i hope you dont see it that way. if you're not a vegetarian, do you feel sorry as well for every pig and cow that gets butchered to pork and beef? think of it as a means of the lord to keep us healthy.

well congratulations! fishing is exciting. you won't regret it especially when you're able to catch gigantic fish!

So, do you feel sorry should a bigger fish prey for a smaller fish? Do you cry if you see a shark feed on a sea lion?

Fish is meant to be eaten by human species. Cheer up, catching and killing them are but natural.

Its okay if you couldn't catch fish at your early age. The important thing is you're enjoying your present fishing life. Am I right?
