Not too far from my place theres a part of the river that turns into a shallow muddy creek, it cant be more than 10 to 15 feet deep max. I went there today with some buddies and caught some small mouth and and sunfish. I caught the small mouth with this crankbait I was using but the problem is it got snagged quickly after then , I lost a jig and two rooster tails. And it seems like theres rock and fallen tree branches hidden all over. How can I fish this type without lossing so many lures while still catching fish?

what i learned from fishing in asian swamps is to use a nylon, that's all. no need to cast your rod. Simply drop the nylon in front of you. Less trouble. Trust me.

yeah exactly. nylon drop fishing is the best to do if the fish are just down there. Good for rock fish too.

I recommend you guys to use Multifilament Fishing Line. This Fishing Line is excellent when used on conventional and Baitcasting Reels, especially when you are after a larger fish.

Yeah that's right. I agree that you must use Multifilament Line. A multifilament's stretch is very little and this Fishing Line is made up of polyethylene strands which, by weight, are around five to 10 times sturdier as compared to steel.
