Do trout get more bigger faster in lakes or rivers?

Of course lake for me. it is larger than river so trout have lots of foods to eat in lake.

I should say LAKE. Generally, larger bodies of water contain older, bigger fish, such as trout. In lakes, trout can eat a great variety of food, such as snails, clams, and fish which can make them larger.

trouts are abundant in cool, clear streams and lakes. and some kinds of trouts can live very long like the lake trout which can live for many decades and can grow up to 30 kgs.

For me I think trout grow faster in the river because food is largely deliver to the trout by the current of water. So in lakes with little current of water trout need to seek there prey.
