Hi! I'll give you basic fishing tips. Are you a beginner? Anyway, here it is:
1.) You need to know the location first. Do some research about
NZ to get you familiar with the place. It would help a lot if you know
the place very well.
2.) You need to know where you will find the fish and what
kind of fish are you looking for. (behavior of fish at the specific
time your planning to go fishing).
3.) Just bring your fishing gear

just go there and ask the maoris. They probably know where the best fishing spots are and where all the babes are and drinks ;) They have good reggae music in new zealand. Theres alot of lakes too. Fly-fishing is quite big there too.
