Utah Lake is used to be a trout fishery way back. Just wondering if
anyone has caught trout out of UL. whetheir brown, or cut, rainbow, and
how big. With so many rivers coming into it you would think that a few
trout would attempt to live in the murky waters of UL.

Last year I caught a rainbow while ice fishing while i was jigging at the bass it was only 12 though but more fun for me.

I was in Provo River and caught one Brown trout about 14 long down, I
caught it in the 4 senko in the state park area. It was caught towards
end of december. It was the only open water I could find the rest is
frozen.

Some more info it is known that the Lake trout was planted in Utah
(turn of the century) O heard that they got big fast and there were
photos of wagons full of huge macs.
