Best time? Spring. During Springtime is the time to catch big bass.
Start off with shallow water and work your way into brush, coves and
lily pads. That would work! Also, you should always use top water lures in springtime. Hope that would help.
There is no fixed time and season for bass fishing. Bass fishing can be
done successfully even during severe cold season provided
you also change your strategy and technique in line with the changes in
the season climate and other things.
Based on my experience, I usually catch bass by using fast-retrieving lures. As regards to the best time of day to catch bass, I should say it's throughout the summertime around early morning
or late evening into nighttime.
fish tight when the sun is out - fish cover tight
as possible in the summer when the sun pops put.... the reason is the bass
feel less secure, so they move tight to cover so it is harder for
predators to see them....
As what Itchthys said, there is really no fixed season for bass fishing. Just keep in mind that they are easily caught during a feeding spree but can be enticed into striking an anglers bait for reasons other than hunger since they are predatory in nature.
The best time is at night or early morning, right before a storm or
during a rain. When it is raining it washes the food away and if you
throw a lure out you will get a bass. My first bass is a 15 inches
large mouth and it put out a great fight for being so little.
