Just a tip, Bass really do not like sunlight. Are you a beginner in catching bass?

Ive been fishing for them for about two years. Every time i go trout fishing i catch like twenty of them and for bass i only catch one or two. The best time of the year for me for bass is in the spring i usually catch five or six...

Just plan your fishing tips accordingly because the behavior of the fish depends on the weather also. Learn how to present your bait naturally, it would help you to catch more bass.

Do you think that techniques like the texas rig help catch more fish? How do you tell if a fish is biting it?

you can almost fish anything on a texas rig...but the biggest problem with a texas rig is hanging up... as you drag the bait, the worm or weight hangs...

Hang ups are just basically part of it. You may need to realize that your bait will be where your fish is, so it's jut but normal for hang ups. Also, you need to use a medium-heavy rod about 6'6" long with a moderately stiff tip.
