Lavictoire Wins Fishing League Event

Thomas Lavictoire of Vermont won the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Empire Division event in 1000 Islands last weekend.
Lavictoire got $4,359 and an additional $1,000 for being the top Ranger Cup participant. Next to Lovictaire are Tom Belinda of Pennsylvania and New Yorkers Christopher Brown, Jamie Hartman, and Michael Morrin. Other winners are Craig Dubois who won the Boater Division Snickers Big Bass award and Dustin Edwards who topped the Co-angler Division. Scott Rickerson, Donal Quonce, Nick Aniulo, and Eric Mcdonald are also in the top 5 of the Co-angler Division.
The next Empire Division event will be held in Lake Champlain, New York on September 23-24. Forty of the top Empire Division boaters and co-anglers will enter the Smith Mountain Regional Championship in Virginia on October.
