Alabama Angler Wins Guntersville Tournament

David Gray of Alabama emerged as the winner of the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Choo Choo Division Super Tournament held in Lake Guntersville.
Following Gray's lead are Randall Tharp, Tony Harrison, Gerald Gann, and Eric Nethery. Tharp also got $500 for being the top Ranger cup participant. Jack Womack won the boater Division Snickers Big Bass award while Danny Jordan brought home $3848 for being the co-angler winner. Runners up in co-angling are Greg Giller, Virginia Buckner, Jack Brown, and David Dunport. Jerry Goodner took home $600 for winning the co-angler Snickers Big bass.
Anglers and boaters who belong to the top 40 of the Choo Choo Division will be advancing to the Lake Demopolis Regional Championship on October 19-21. They will compete with anglers and boaters from Everglades, Mississippi, and Seminole.
