The deadline to register for Yamaha's 26th annual LCI Father's Day Fishing Derby June 16-18 on Lake Champlain, is midnight, May 31.
Participants may register for America's oldest, largest freshwater fishing derby by phone at 879-3466; online at www.lciderby.com; or by fax at 879-1746.
The derby is an event specially crafted for the recreational angler and families. Those interested in participating may still register after the online deadline at one of 42 local retail outlets until the close of business on June 15. A complete listing of retail outlets may be obtained by calling 879-3466.
Nearly $200,000 in cash and prizes is up for the winning in this catch-and-release tradition. The derbies are the main fund-raising events for Lake Champlain International, Inc. and Fishing for Friends - a community mentoring partnership to connect adults with children through fishing.
