EchoPilot FLS Wreck Fish Finders
A fully functional FLS with all the features of the Gold but in addition it has extra hardware and software enabling the wreck location feature. Finding wrecks is always challenging even if you think you know where they are! The Wreck finder is based on military mine hunting sonar and incorporates unique "classifier" software that can distinguish between the sonar echoes received from the seabed from those returned by wrecks. It displays either 2D forward data or 3D sidescan data (turn transducer to look sideways, or use the twin transducer kit). In sidescan mode the shape of seabed targets is clear and on the maximum range of 450 feet (sideways) at 5 knots an amazing 11250 square yards of seabed is displayed on a lattice of 240 points. NMEA compatibility means that the Wreck finder can remember wreck positions.
