And the original 555GS has a 5.3:1 ratio that makes it fast, yet powerful and large enough to tackle a wide variety of casting and trolling applications. All feature one-piece, graphite frames; super heavy-duty high-speed machined gearing made with stainless pinions and bronze alloy main gears; a new "gear forward" design allows for larger gears than in other reels; lightweight black anodized aluminum spools for longer, easier casts and high capacities; sealed stainless steel ball bearings make the reel exceptionally smooth; powerful HT100 multi-disc drag for unbeatable stopping power; soft grip comfort handle; cast control and a heavy duty shifting system; loud line clicker.
